coffee shops in Leighton Buzzard

A coffee shop for every day of February in the Leighton Buzzard area.

The Leighton Buzzard area is spoilt for choice with wonderful independent coffee shops so set a target to visit them all, we know they’ll appreciate your visit.

Sorelli Cafe – Our favourite spot in Leighton Buzzard High Street is this quaint 16th Century building complete with beams to prove its age. Great onsite baked croissants and cakes and many locally sourced ingredients – we love it. Pop next door to sister shop Piccolo for take-out cakes and coffee.

Latte Dah – At the top end of the High Street, tucked away in Peacock Mews is this welcoming coffee shop, with a picturesque courtyard to sit in on a sunny day.

Cittadina – Pooches welcome as this coffee shop in Leighton Buzzard High Street as it has a doggy playground at the rear. Easy to spot with its floral exterior.

Room No9 – Explore this delightful store before heading upstairs to their cute coffee shop.

Espresso Head – It’s small but perfectly formed and they take their coffee seriously. Find them in Hockliffe Street at the top of the town centre.

The Pantry – Tucked away in a gorgeous courtyard look out for their pavement board at 44 High Street. Great for sitting outside.

Bianco Nero – Also in Leighton Buzzard High Street you get to spin the roulette wheel for discounts and treats at this spacious coffee shop

Lauren’s Cafe -in High Street Mews is a favourite for fans of a cooked breakfast and offers vegan choices too and good value for money

Canal Street Cafe – heading further out towards the station, opposite Tesco this cafe boasts parking behind and is a firm favourite with people looking for a co-working space.

The Vibes Cafe – back over the road and next to the canal is this waterside spot. Try one of their freshly made smoothies.

CuriosiTEA Rooms – heading out of Leighton Buzzard on Billington Road you will find this little gem at Pages Park (closed Mondays). They also host a chatty cafe on Wednesdays between 11am and 1pm.

Cod & Waffle – A little further out at Theedway on the corner is Cod and Waffle. A strange name but the flavours are delicious and you can choose from tasty treats to go with your latte.

Espresso Boutique – Head a little further along Theedway and you will find Espresso Boutique (near our fave hairdressers, Constantines). This little cafe has it’s own micro community going on and watching while you have your hair done is entertainment.

Frankie’s Cafe – if you prefer a more fried breakfast vibe then this place on North Street is ideal, popular with trades you get a friendly welcome and a set breakfast menu to choose from.

Tree Tops Cafe – For views for ever visit Rushmere Park (parking fees apply) enjoy a beautiful walk and your doggy is welcome on the outside deck.

Tree of Life Cafe – This cute little coffee shop is tucked inside the Leighton Buzzard Garden Centre on Hockliffe Street, just outside the town. They also hold a 60+ Connect and Belong friendship meeting.

The Baa T-room – out on the outskirts of Billington on Nobby’s Farm is this quirky cafe set in a country barn. Expect random seating and on sunny days the courtyard is a dream.

Pecks Farm Shop – Head out of Leighton Buzzard on Hockliffe Street and you will come across this idyllic spot with foodie gifts and it’s own cafe with sausage rolls made on site.

Costa – we are all for independent coffee shops but we do have to mention our 2 Costas, they are franchises after all so their owners are business owners. Located at the bottom end of the High Street and at the out of town retail park on Grovebury Road (our favourite and easy to park) the coffee really is great.

Cafe Nero – As we are mentioning chains it is only fair that we mention this coffee shop too situated in Waterbourne Walk opposite Waitrose.

House of Coffee – Before we head slightly further out of town, whilst not strictly a coffee shop, House of Coffee is worth a mention because it is our town’s very own coffee supplier and grinder. Find them tucked in the ‘Dickensesque’ alley to Peacock Mews.

Heirloom Cafe – We are staying in the Leighton Buzzard area but nipping out to the pretty village of Edlesborough to their small row of shops. This coffee shop has minimal seating outside but bakes all goods on the premises and is definitely worth a mention.

Black Goo Coffee – Okay this is a stretch from Leighton Buzzard in the nearby town of Tring but we have to mention them. It’s a cute little quirky shop and it has the most epic portions of cakes.

Tring Garden Centre – While we are out Tring way this garden centre has a great coffee shop and of course you can also stock up on plants.

CuriosiTEA Room – We have given them a mention for Leighton Buzzard but they also have a lovely spot in Pitstone located in the Old School House on the Green. Dogs are welcome outside and often inside if they make a dash for it.

Soper & Co -Head out of Leighton Buzzard on the by-pass towards Dunstable and head for the village of Toddington. This cute place often has queues for it’s delicious take-out and is a bit of a Tardis with hidden seating through the back.

The Fly-By Cafe – Look, its not particularly pretty but the food is good and it has the most amazing location; a working airfield at the London Gliding Club which is located on the Tring Road just outside Dunstable. Watch the gliders take flight as you sip your coffee. Just don’t park on the tarmac bit!

P E Mead – Finally we are taking you to one of our favourite meeting spots outside of Leighton Buzzard. Located in a stunning converted barn out in Wilstone. Easy parking and a farm shop and oil press to visit too.
