If you are wondering where to visit Santa before he sets off around the world on Christmas Eve we have all the local places he is visiting right here. As always we urge you to book right away to avoid disappointment. If you are looking for the Rotary Santa route, scroll down. We have also included annual Santa Dashes.
Santa’s Steam Specials

Take a 25-minute steam-train ride over a historic narrow-gauge railway that’s more than 100 years old, and run by enthusiastic volunteers. Please note that our Santa trains only operate between Page’s Park Station and Leedon Loop over our suburban section of track, and trains do not travel to Stonehenge Works or Munday’s Hill.
Meet Santa on arrival back at Page’s Park grotto, where children up to 12 will receive an early present.

Breakfast with Santa
Booking in advance is essential for this experience for your little ones.
Enjoy a delightful breakfast where we will provide you with a letter that your little one can fill and colour to hand over to Father Christmas and tell him all about your wishes for the Christmas holidays… you ll have also a 10 minutes window where your little ones can meet and talk to father Christmas an opportunity you should not miss…
We dont charge entry fees but we will require you to book in advance due to limited spaces and consume breakfast before meeting the Man in person.

Funky Snakes Santa’s Grotto

Visit Santa at Funky Snake Escape. There’s a present for every child and you only need to purchase a £10 ticket for your child to enter. Wednesday – Sunday 10am – 12pm | 20th November – 24th December 2025

Panto Express with Father Christmas

See Father Christmas whilst enjoying a steam train ride, watch a pantomime and meet Mrs Claus and the Elves – all in one amazing festive Christmas experience!
Start your journey with our family-friendly pantomime, Aladdin, in our festive Visitor Centre. Enjoy your performance and then make your way to the Booking Hall to board the steam train. You will be shown to your compartment and visited by Father Christmas, where each child will be given a special golden ticket.
After the train ride, your adventure continues to the museum where you will be magically transported to Santa’s workshop to meet Mrs Claus and the elves, and your child can exchange their golden ticket for a gift of their choice.

Whatever your age, join us on Saturday 29th November at 11am for a wonderful 2K, 3K or 5K run around Leighton Buzzard, chasing the Christmas Pudding ! Bring your family and friends ! Costumes are available to purchase on the day and all proceeds go to Citizens Advice.

Santa’s Grotto with Peter Rabbit & Friends™

Visit Santa this Christmas at centre:mk and experience the brand-new tale of Peter Rabbit and Friends, in a heartwarming new festive adventure!
Families will enter Peter Rabbit’s cosy burrow, warmly welcomed by Mrs Rabbit who will tell the tale of Peter’s lost Christmas presents. The Children will use clues to help Mrs Rabbit search for the missing presents, before adventuring out into the snowy forest through Peter’s secret tunnel.
Within the snowy forest, families will join Peter Rabbit and friends in some festive fun, where they will decorate gingerbread biscuits for the Christmas feast, before heading off to meet with Santa himself to complete their journey.
Each child will take away their decorated biscuit and receive a lovely gift from Santa.

Experience a magical festive adventure on selected dates in December, as the yuletide cheer of the North Pole takes over the farm. Meet Father Christmas in his grotto for a group story then visit the Make a Bear Workshop to create your own cuddly bear. Don’t forget to pick a toy from his Grotto. Decorate gingerbread with Mother Christmas, wander through The Magical Forest, have a laugh at The Pudding Club Show and make some Reindeer food to take home ready for Christmas Eve. New for 2025: a brand-new immersive adventure at Christmas HQ.

Frosts Garden Centre, Woburn Santa’s Grotto Experience
This ever popular experience is sold out for all weekends there are some dates for weekdays.
Winter Wonderland at Centre Parcs, Woburn

If you really want to push the boat out and have a magical Christmas experience, Centre Parks have a range of festive experiences on offer, from Elf Pyjama parties, Santa’s workshops, brunch with santa and other experiences to really make your stay sparkle.
Santa Experience at the Olde Water Mill.

The Old Water Mill is a great place to visit for stocking fillers and has a lovely olde worlde atmosphere.
Step into the North Pole Bakery where Nutmeg the Baker and Jelly Tots the Elf will help all the children decorate a delicious christmassy gingerbread biscuit, there will also be an extra little surprise too. Next we’re off to meet more of Santa’s Elves.
In the Magic Stables, Drifter is preparing Rudolph and his friends’ favourite food. Here the children can fill their own bag of special magic food to take home.
If that’s not enough fun, Mrs Claus will invite you into their cozy sitting room to meet Santa himself for a festive story, a present for each child and individual time with him and the opportunity to take that personal photograph of all the family.
Outside Rudolph is waiting to say ‘Merry Christmas’ and see you all, and each child can enjoy a go on Santa’s fairground train ride after which all the family can enjoy some time in our glittering, illuminated Wonderland and climb aboard The Santa Express for more fun and photos.NEW this year, we have Santa’s Magic Postbox outside in the Winter Wonderland, so don’t forget to remind the children to bring their letters and post them to make sure they reach the North Pole by Christmas Eve.
Meet Santa At Whipsnade Zoo

Santa is once again making a special stop at Whipsnade Zoo this year! Little ones can join in festive crafts before meeting Santa in his new magical grotto and receive a very special early Christmas gift to take home.

New times released, due to popular demand!
These sessions include the same experience as standard Meet Santa sessions, but with dimmed lighting, quieter sounds and other reduced sensory stimulation to make the area feel more relaxed, specifically designed for those with additional needs.
Story Time with Santa at Woburn Sands Garden Centre
Join Santa in his grotto as he reads a magical Christmas story, and telling us all about what he’s been up to and how he’s preparing for this Christmas. This is a group event which you will share with other families. Each child will receive a toy from Santa.The experience lasts for approximately 20 minutes.
Also available is a Virtual Reality Sleigh Ride and back for another year, the very popular Ice Skating Rink.
