Teddy Bear and Wildlife Trail

Meet a special cast of local wildlife. Kids will help Rosie the Red Kite to solve the mystery of the broken Great Dawn Chorus. They will follow a ten-point trail solving clues, riddles and challenges along the way.
The trail should take about 30-40 minutes and is based along our multi-user, accessible pathway which is suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.

The LB Market team alongside the Leighton-Linslade Children’s Trail welcome you down to the High Street on Tuesday 26th May between 10:00 – 13:00 for some FREE half term fun! We’re delighted to welcome back the much-loved Animal Edge Mobile Farm, giving children (and grown-ups!) the chance to get up close with a variety of friendly farm animals. There’ll also be face painting and hands-on craft activities to keep little ones entertained throughout the morning, making it a perfect family day out. Woodland Warriors will be joining us with some natural crafts – rocking birds, hapa zome butterflies, log slice bees and more, and the Leighton Linslade Children’s Centre will be bringing more fun activities. Alongside the activities, visitors can enjoy a lively market atmosphere, browse local stalls, and soak up the community spirit.

Guided Play Through Rushmere Park

You can join in with five fun activities in the woods, gain confidence and ideas to play safely in the woods. The education team will guide you through the trees with fun things to do with all the family helping you find creative ways to play.Take an imaginative journey into the country park, discover the theatre hiding in the trees, create your own miniature museum, discover stories and get to really know the trees around you. An event for families with children between the ages of 3 and 12 years.

Natural History Museum Presents Dinosaurs Live
For the first time since 1881, the home of dinosaurs, London’s Natural History Museum, is going on tour!

We’ll go on a pre-historic journey together to the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and watch the life-like dinosaurs come alive right on stage!
