Leighton Buzzard Garden Waste 2025/2026
There will be a temporary pause of Central Bedfordshire garden waste collections for 12 weeks this winter, from
Monday, 1 December 2025 to Friday, 20 February 2026.
Collections will resume on Monday, 23 February 2026.
The final garden waste collection for each area will take place during the week beginning either Monday, 17 November or Monday, 24 November.

Please check online which date applies to your area. All other waste and recycling collections will continue as normal during this period
Alternative options for disposing of garden waste during the winter break
Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs)
You can continue to recycle garden waste at any of the council’s four HWRCs, which are open daily from 9am to 5pm, including bank holidays.
