The Rise and Rise of Sip & Paint

The Rise and Rise of Sip & Paint

There’s a new kind of night out on the rise, one that swaps noisy bars for paintbrushes and wine glasses. Sip and Paint evenings (or Paint & Prosecco, as some like to call them) is becoming a trending way for friends to unwind, connect, and get creative.

A Creative Escape for Everyone

It’s easy to see why these events have captured so many imaginations. They’re fun, relaxed, and designed for anyone, even those who haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school. The combination of friendly, no pressure help, colourful paints, and a glass of something nice helps people loosen up and let their creativity flow. There’s no need to be perfect, it’s all about enjoying the process.

Friendship, Fun, and a Splash of Colour

The social side of Sip and Paint nights is what makes them truly special. Groups of friends often come together to paint matching sets that look lovely alone, but even better when displayed side-by-side. Some pairs paint two halves of a single image, like a sun and moon or do a paint and swop, where every 15 minutes or so they take it in turns to paint each other’s bisque and end up with a end artwork that is truly collaborative.  It’s a wonderful way to celebrate friendship, whether you are painting an item for each other, creating a keepsake that connects you or just making it a regular meet up for catching up!

More Than Just Painting

At The.Work.Shop, the crafting centre of Happydashery, these creative get-togethers are about so much more than paint. They’re a chance to slow down, laugh, chat, and reconnect all while making something beautiful to take home. And because The.Work.Shop is built on a love of crafting, each event is infused with friendly, hands-on guidance that makes everyone feel at ease.

The Joy of Making Together

In a world where so much of life happens on screens, there’s something wonderfully grounding about dipping a brush in paint, clinking glasses with friends; whatever you choose to paint

‘Getting out and about is quite difficult but I love coming to ‘Sip & Paint’.  It is nice, friendly and relaxed and gives you opportunity to wind down and do something creative without the stress of looking after two young boys!  I will happily come again and again!’, Kerrie.

So, gather your friends, choose your colours, and come see why Sip and Paint at The . Work . Shop is quickly becoming the most joyful night out in town. You might come for the Prosecco  but you’ll stay for the laughter, the memories, and that satisfying feeling of “I made this!”
