New Children’s Book Launch in Leighton Buzzard
How Cute is this cover picture?
Carli Ann Smith has written a children’s book after being inspired by Bluebell woods in Linslade.
It’s Carli’s first children’s book and tells The Tale of ‘Who-bell’, a Bluebell who’s not blue. She’s sad because she’s not the same as her friends but goes on to find she’s brilliant in her own way. It’s aimed at children between 3-6yrs and has been tested on her own little boy who is 3 years old.
This is a wonderful introduction to the concepts of difference and inclusion with engaging illustrations.

The book is beautifully illustrated by Ellena Reece. There will also be a handout black and white page for children to colour themselves at the launch.
The Tale of Who-bell will be launched at Happydashery on Leighton Buzzard High Street on Saturday 26th April between 2-5pm and will be available for sale priced £10.99.
An additional reading will be held at Leighton Buzzard Library on 10th May for Storytime currently showing as 10am (please check details).
