Our Favourite Spots
Are we allowed to have favourites? Yes we are and to start here’s our 3, keep scrolling for more!

The Cottage
A family run Italian bistro and bar set in a 15th Century timber beamed building. There are cosy nooks and crannies and a beautiful outside space perfect for events. Expect traditional Italian dishes with exceptional quality. We loved the Lamb Cutlet in pistachio crust, roasted mediterranean vegetables & truffle mash potato.

The Winery
This is Leighton Buzzard local’s best kept secret and they don’t want to share. It is not strictly a restaurant but their offering of meat and extensive cheese choice and platters including dips and nibbles mean you can keep them coming, until you are replete. All alongside a expertly curated wine list. We recommend you try a Wine Flight to discover your favourite tipple.

Sorelli
Breakfast and lunchtime only but it is worth foregoing dinner for this amazing spot. They source the finest ingredients and it shows in every mouthful. Indulge in one of their all day brunch choices and follow up with cake from their on-site bakery. It’s licenced too so meet friends for a glass of prosecco and one of their delicious salads.
Leighton Buzzard is blessed with so many eateries, cafes and restaurants keep reading to discover more.
Good For Sunday Roast
The Ship in Linslade always gets a mention for epic Sunday Roasts. This pub offers traditional British pub meals and a gold standard carvery. The Dukes in Heath & Reach is hosted by a Northern lass so expect epic portions and a warm welcome when you book your Sunday roast here.
Traditional Italian
We have already mentioned The Cottage and Sorelli but there’s even more. Mama Rosa’s is a friendly and homely family run Italian restaurant in Leighton Buzzard serving traditional fair with very generous portions (you have been warned). Rusticos in Linslade is an intimate restaurant with fresh pasta made daily, try their , prosciutto, mascarpone, mushroom and parmesan tortelli
A Touch of Spice
How do you choose? Everyone has their favourite Indian and the debates, like the spice, can get heated. We like the Himalaya, it’s a friendly spot in Linslade and their food is excellent with many 5 star reviews.
Turkish
Mevan restaurant is a firm local favourite and unlike some, has been with us for a number of years with a firm fan base. Expect authentic Turkish food and consider their very popular sharing platters and meze.
Canal Side Dining
Unsurprisingly, considering our location, there are a number of canal side pubs in the Leighton Buzzard vicinity The Grove Lock is a nice location with easy parking and offers hearty food and real ales. Be sure to book ahead if the weather is fine.
Family Friendly Food
If you are looking for somewhere relaxed where no-one is going to be worried about the children going off to play consider Cod and Waffle. It is a fully licenced restaurant and the food is excellent quality, kids love the sundaes and milkshakes and their fish and chips are definitely worth a taste.
