International Women’s Day – Is it just for women?
Sunday 8th March marks International Women’s Day but are events just for women?
We asked Chloe Peters who organises an annual Leighton Buzzard event she told us…
International Women’s Day is not about excluding any gender it is about celebrating women and highlighting their contribution to our lives. We invite everyone along to our event for informal chats and to discover the importance of this date to everyone, not just women.
The event takes place 1.30pm-3.30pm on Sunday 8th March at Pages Park Pavillion and is free to attend. Everyone is welcome to pop in for a chat. All refreshments profits will go to Freddie and Friends.
