Buzzstock Music Festival launches its 5th year

At the beginning of the month, the secret ‘Superfan‘ ticket sale quietly came to an end for loyal fans of Buzzstock Music Festival, with public tickets now officially on sale.

Now in its fifth year, Buzzstock has become one of Bedfordshire’s best-kept secrets – and many locals would happily keep it that way. Tucked away in a hidden meadow midway between Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard, thousands of people have already discovered this family-friendly party in the countryside, yet it remains surprisingly under the radar.

This year, Buzzstock takes place from 4pm on Friday 17 July (car park and camping open from 3pm), continuing through Saturday 18 July from midday (car park and camping open from 11am).

The timing couldn’t be better. Friday marks the final day of the school term in Bedfordshire, and Sunday evening sees the World Cup Final kick off at 8pm – setting the scene for an unforgettable summer weekend.

“It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING…!!!”

What can you expect at Buzzstock?

Buzzstock blends the best of local talent with high-energy performance shows and well-known tribute acts. Friday night closes with a huge Dance Anthems Live experience this is a euphoric hit-list of 90s and 2000s Ibiza classics including Insomnia, Everybody’s Free, Bullet in the Gun and Children. If you’ve danced to it, chances are it’ll be played.

This year also sees the launch of the Ouzel Stage, named after the nearby brook that runs close to the venue. Designed to champion local bands and late-night party vibes, the stage hosts an indie-rock-with-punk-edges evening on Friday, finishing with Arctic Monkeys tribute Artificial Monkeys.

Saturday night culminates on the main stage with Massaoke – a touring phenomenon that’s hard to describe but impossible to forget. Imagine arena-level energy, wall-to-wall hits, and the lyrics on screen so everyone can sing along. Think KISS on energy juice… but louder.

Over on the Ouzel Stage, the Funk My Life takeover brings feel-good party energy, blending vocal, soulful and classic house with funk and nu-disco. The collective has been making waves across the UK and promises an atmosphere packed with love, movement and hands-in-the-air moments.
