Local business backs popular Midnight Moo fundraiser
Local opticians and hearing specialists Specsavers Milton Keynes are supporting this year’s Willen Hospice Midnight Moo, one of the area’s biggest annual fundraising events.
Taking place on Friday 26 June, the popular night-time walk sees more than 1,000 people take to Milton Keynes’ famous redways to raise money for Willen Hospice, which provides specialist care for local people affected by life-limiting illness.
Participants can choose either a 5-mile or 10-mile route, starting from Middleton Hall at centre:mk. The event is known for its fun atmosphere, colourful outfits and strong community spirit.
With stores in both centre:mk and Newport Pagnell High Street, Specsavers Milton Keynes has supported the Hospice for many years.
Steve Moore, Director at Specsavers Milton Keynes, said: “We’re delighted to support the Midnight Moo once again. It’s a fantastic event that brings people together while raising vital funds for an important local cause.”
Entry costs £25, including a Midnight Moo T-shirt and finisher’s medal, or £20 with a finisher’s medal only.
