Dirty Dancing at MK Theatre

Have the time of your life with Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage will be directed by Federico Bellone and choreographed by Austin Wilks. Seen by millions across the globe, this worldwide smash hit tells the classic story of Baby and Johnny, two fiercely independent young spirits from different worlds, who come together in what will be the most challenging and triumphant summer of their lives. Featuring the hit songs ‘Hungry Eyes’, ‘Hey! Baby’, ‘Do You Love Me?’ and the heart stopping ‘(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life’, the iconic show returns to the stage, previewing in Milton Keynes Theatre from 25th August 2026. Thereafter, Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage will go on to entertain audiences across the UK and Ireland until the summer of 2027.


Zoo Explorers at ZSL Whipsnade

There is still some availability for the animal experiences at Whipnade Zoo. Spaces are available on the Zoo Explorer for ages 5-7 years in August and there are plenty of other opportunities for all ages.


West End Shows and Hollywood Films – Free

It’s free but worth popping in your calendar – As part of the Leighton Linslade Town Council Summer Concert Series, the Leighton Linslade Concert Band will be playing in the Parson’s Close Recreation Grounds on August 2nd at 3pm. We hope to see you  there. Bring your picnic and deck chairs. We will be playing music from West End shows, Hollywood Films as well as traditional Concert Band pieces. 


Leighton Buzzard Last Night at The Proms and Outdoor Cinema

Another free event from Leighton Linslade Town Council which always has a great turn out. Held at Parson’s Close Recreation Ground on Saturday 12 September. The proms start at 7pm but the program of cinema has yet to be confirmed and is usually earlier and suited to children.

Grease Outdoor Cinema Experience at the Ascott Estate

Is the Ascott Estate this areas best kept secret. They host a range of amazing events from Spring through to late Summer and this one is going to an excellent sing-a-long experience. See Details Here

Appledown Fun Dog Show

Entry is just £2 per class and there are 12 classes to choose from as well as Best In Show. Appledown Rescue is located on Harling Road in Eaton Bray LU6 1QY and the show supports their work rescuing and rehoming dogs. The event is 12-4pm on Saturday 26th September. Parking is available but it can get busy. Join in the fun at our first The dog show is open to all dogs (apart from Appledown Rescue). Enjoy all of the other attractions: BBQ, tea, coffee and cake, a glass of Pimms, tombola for you and your dog, toy stalls for children, raffle and lots of guest stalls.
