P E Mead & Sons
Actually in Herts (just outside Tring) but we won’t hold this against them because their cafe is in a beautifully converted barn and they serve up some delicious food with views over the fields. Great for morning coffee and cake. They stock animal feed and pet food supplies, firewood, gifts, and fresh fruit and veg. They also have a full range of genuinely local produce (see the list in miles on their website) and Turkeys from their farming neighbours Jonathon and Caroline. Good to know: these turkeys are allowed to roam free on the farm. If you are not a turkey fan they also stock Christmas Goose, Ducks, Cockerels and Turkey crowns, Home Produced Beef and Lamb Roasting joints.
