30 Experiences. Two Days, One Welcome
This July locals and visitors are invited to slow their pace and see the ChilternsNational Landscape differently during the first ever Chilterns Discovery Day weekend.
T
aking place across the Chilterns on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July, this
open invitation brings together 30 Chilterns experiences designed to celebrate the landscapes, heritage, food, wildlife and communities that make the Chilterns so loved by locals and visitors alike.
Across the weekend, you can enjoy seasonal local menus, enjoy the River Thames on or off the water, watch the moon rise over Ivinghoe Beacon, take the family to an outdoor theatre performance or take part in yoga in the woods. From stargazing and trail walks to family-friendly attractions, thereโs something for everyone to enjoy.
Annette Weiss from the Chilterns National Landscape said:”The Chilterns National Landscape is proud to support Chilterns Discovery Day,
celebrating the unique and diverse local businesses that showcase the very best of this
special place. By encouraging people to explore and connect more deeply, we can help
ensure the Chilterns remains a treasured landscape for generations to come.โ
Becky Salisbury, Director of Salisbury Pubs said:
โWe are taking part as we love to tell people about our little corner of Ashridge
Forest where our pub is located. Perfect for walking and cycling to and from our sunny
patio.โ
