Friday 2nd August – Elvis Banquet Night
The Venue at Bell Close, Leighton Buzzard Football Club are hosting an Elvis Banquet Night with award winning Elvis tribute Danny Graceland. Tickets are £25 and include a 2 course American style meal. Tickets available from behind the bar (cash only), or by calling 07794 032798.
Friday 9th August – 80s Disco
The Golden Bell on Church Square Leighton Buzzard have a full programme of live music including their usual Tuesday nights Open Mic. On Friday 9th August they are hosting an 80s disco followed by 5 piece covers band Escape Party on Saturday 10th, plus a Club Classics Night on 23rd. Get all the Golden Bell’s events for August here
Friday 2nd and 16th August – Alive After 5
Leighton Linslade Town Council bring us another Alive After 5 event featuring live music, entertainment food and drink. Located at Market Cross Leighton Buzzard High Street it is free to attend and you can find more details here
Saturday 17th August – Graham James
Having played with 3 super sixties bands, namely Union Gap, The Fourmost and The Mersey Legends , Graham is now a solo artist and has made a number of visits to the venue. Sunday 18 August – Leighton-Linslade Concert Band
Leighton Linslade Concert Band will be performing at Music in the Park Concerts in Parson’s Close Recreation Ground, Leighton Buzzard. annually, commencing at 3pm. There is a full program of concerts culminating in The Last Night of the Proms in September. See more details here
Wednesday 28th August – The Greatest Showman Sing-a-long
Get your friends, family and loved ones together for some pure entertainment as you watch and singalong with the movie on a huge open-air screen in the stunning grounds of Ashridge House.Plus music to enjoy before the movie with a soundtrack of specially curated songs. Gates open 7pm, film starts shortly after sunset, at approx. 8.30pm. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket or camping chair and sing along with The Greatest Showman under the stars! Thursday 29th August – Now That’s What I Call Drag!
Do you love all things drag?! Well strut right up because “NOW! That’s What I Call…DRAG!” RETURNS to Leighton Buzzard with a gorgeous night of drag in The Crooked Crow Bar! Serving up a classic slice of British drag cabaret, expect electrifying lip synching, stunning live vocals, camp comedy, audience games and of course…CHAOS! Hosted by UK drag stars Knuckle Sandwich and Will Power. This event is seated, with limited standing room available! Seating is first come, first served! Doors at 7pm! Show at 7.45pm(ish)! Friday 30th August – Open Mic Night
The Dukes pub in Heath & Reach host this regular and well attended open night mic on the last Friday of the month.
