Willen Hospice and MK Dons offer free Valentine’s Day tickets to support local care
Willen Hospice and MK Dons have come together to create the perfect match this Valentine’s Day. Fans are being offered free tickets to the Dons’ home game, with the chance to donate to the Hospice’s life-changing care for the community.
This special matchday on Saturday 14 February, when the Dons take on Newport County, invites everyone in Milton Keynes to show their love for their football club and their local hospice. It marks the start of a new partnership between the two this season.
Complimentary seats in Community Corner are available now through the Hospice website for supporters and up to three loved ones. While booking tickets, fans will have the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to support the Hospice’s care for local people affected by life-limiting illness.
The vast majority of the Hospice’s services are funded by the community. As a registered charity, it needs to raise an incredible £9.6 million every year to continue providing its care and support free of charge.
Nigel Birch, the Hospice’s Commercial Manager, said, “We’re incredibly grateful to MK Dons for choosing Willen Hospice as one of their charity partners for the 2025/26 season. Partnerships like this are crucial in helping us raise funds and raise awareness of our care and the difference it makes to our patients and their families. This matchday is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together for a fun day out, cheer on the Dons and make a real difference to local hospice care.”

Just before Christmas, Dons players and coaching staff visited Willen Hospice to understand more about how its expert teams support local people. Head Coach Paul Warne and players including Aaron Collins and Kane Wilson met several of those receiving round-the-clock care in the In-Patient Unit. During the visit, the Dons also joined Hospice staff for an interactive ball game in the state-of-the-art Immersive room.
Tickets are available now at willen-hospice.org.uk/the-perfect-match. Supporters
are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. Information on how to donate
to the Hospice is provided at the point of booking.
