CBeebies at Whipsnade Zoo
Families visiting Whipsnade Zoo this May half term will have the chance to get creative with their favourite TV stars, when CBeebies’ Mister Maker and Rebecca Keatley visit the UK’s largest zoo.
From Saturday 24 May until Sunday 1 June, the children’s TV presenters will be encouraging visitors to make, create, and play at their interactive live shows and self-guided crafting station, designed to teach children about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling.
The dynamic duo will host three outdoor live shows per day, which will be full of music and dancing.
Mini Makers can visit the self-guided Creature Craft Workshop, where they can make their very own paper parrot from recycled materials – inspired by the five species of endangered parrot seen in the Zoo’s bird demonstration – with the chance to display their creations proudly on the conservation zoo’s ‘Maker Wall’.
After enjoying Mister Maker’s arty extravaganza, which is free this half term with zoo entry, visitors can explore the rest of the 600-acre site, with more than 11,000 animals from 245 species to discover – including a pride of rare northern African lions and their seven cubs. Milton Keynes Theatre
For adults children over 9 years join the silliness that is Harry Enfield on Friday 30th May at Milton Keynes Theatre.
Marvel! As he offers new insights into the hot topics of the day such as the demise of the SCART lead, The Culture Wars, the differences between crab sticks and rhubarb and the origins of Tiramisu!
Guffaw with delight! As he delves into the back catalogue using my patented ‘Old Bit Randomiser’ for old favourites like ‘Interspecies Tennis’, ‘The time I went up in the Space Shuttle’ and ‘When Nan got her hair caught in the knitting’!

Woburn Safari Park Welcomes Special Visitors
Marshall and Rubble from the hit TV show PAW Patrol will be making a special appearance on Saturday 24th May to meet their biggest fans.Marshall and Rubble will be appearing to meet heroic fans at intervals throughout the day – don’t forget to bring your cameras!
On 26th May Peppa Pig will be making an appearance and Baby Shark on 1st June
Make the most of your visit by heading out on a Road Safari adventure to spot incredible animals like lions, rhinos, tigers and giraffes. Then wander down to the Safari Hangout (stop no.3 on your Foot Safari map) to meet the dynamic duo, with plenty of animal encounters along the way!
