Are You Ready for the Bank Holiday Weekend in Leighton Buzzard
The May Bank Holiday weekend is a big event in the Leighton Buzzard calendar – here’s some highlights for this weekend.
May Day Fair – Monday 4th May 2026 10am to 4pm
The leighton-Linslade Rotarian May Day Fair is a wonderful day out for all the family. The High Street is taken over with stalls, rides and entertainment, visit the High Street shops and then wander into Parson’s Close Recreation Ground (near the Church) to see even more stalls and the arena shows. This year; 97 Key Mortier Dance Organ, the Infinity All Stars Cheerleading School, Little Nippers Dog Racing and the Glee Club Choir are just some of the entertainment.
Scooter Show/Get Together & Mayday Fayre in the High Street
From 10am, Monday 4th May, Market Square, LU7 1EU
The Scooter Show is Free Entry
Held at the top of the High St near Market Square. All types of scooters are Welcome, from Vintage Lambrettas & Vespas through the years to Modern Autos. Please bring your scooter along to exhibit and get involved in the scene.
There are 6 Trophies: Best Paint Job, Best Engineering, Best Vintage, Best Modern, Best in Show & Presidents Choice.
Judging should take place around midday with presentations and photos soon after.

Teddy Bear’s Picnic at Buzz Rail 3rd and 4th May
Children who bring their Teddy Bears for a day out can travel Free. The Children’s Bear Hunt at Stonehenge Works will be open to entertain our younger visitors. For more details and to book tickets go to www.buzzrail.uk

Sausage & Cider Fest
2pm – 8.30pm, Sunday 3rd May, The Crooked Crow Bar, 27 Waterbourne Walk, Leighton Buzzard
Tickets £8pp – event is 18+
