Local Grant funds Stewkley Singers Jubilee Concert

All Saints’ Church, Leighton Buzzard
Stewkley Singers are delighted to be performing an evening of wonderful music to
celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The Wigmore Chamber Orchestra, four
professional soloists and the choir of Stewkley Singers will be conducted by our Musical
Director, Jenny Morgan.
The first half of the concert will be Joseph Haydn’s Nelson Mass,
followed after the interval by a rousing second half featuring Last Night of the Proms
favourites, including Zadok the Priest, Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory, together
with some great British operetta to get everyone smiling! So, please dig out your Union
flags, bring them along to wave and join in the singing in our Jubilee celebrations!
