Inclusive Footballer’s Solid Start

The Adult Leighton Park Rangers/ Yes We Can Inclusive Footballers got off to a solid start at the first Berks/ Bucks/ Oxfordshire Inclusion Football Tournament of the 2026/27 season.

The League 2 Buzzards only lost a single game to Reading FC and went toe to toe with the big guns of Slough , Northampton and Easington drawing all three games as well as emerging victorious against Newbury.Richard Johnson OBE said

“Once again our footballers did Leighton Park Rangers and Rotary/ Yes We Can proud with some outstanding performances as well as the most important aspect having FUN .With no competitive inclusion football available in Bedfordshire it is testament to our Buzzards & Kites that they get up so early on a Sunday to travel by coach to Oxford to represent Leighton- Linslade. We salute all the participants , parents and carers who demonstrate how much of a centre of excellence for Inclusion Sport that Leighton Linslade is.”
