Low Cost Ideas For Families
Leighton Buzzard Market Halloween Family Day is a low cost excuse for little ones to dress up and take part in some activities. There are usually characters and colouring activities and it runs alongside the usual Tuesday Charter Market. 10am-1pm on Tuesday 27th October. Free to attend.
From October Half Term to the end of November Rushmere Park have an Autumn Trail to follow. Pick up a sheet for ยฃ4 and follow the pumpkin clues to solve the puzzle – fee also includes a treat. Parking fees also apply.
The Raven and Broomstick Halloween Market is always a popular event and a great opportunity to dress up and go haunting the perfect location of Peacock Mews and explore the stalls. It is on Sunday 25th October 11am – 4pm. The Raven and Broomstick shop is a perfect place to explore for Halloween and includes spells and curiosities and also visit the spookily good museum too. Spooky Weekend at Leighton Buzzard Railway is rolling out of the station on Saturday 31st Octoberย withย creepy decorations. costumes and visitors are encouraged to dress up for the occasion; witches, wizards, ghouls and ghosties will find themselves at home.ย ย At Pageโs Park you can join in with grave robbing ย to find buried treasuresย ย Sunday 1st November will also include spooky fun!ย Tickets atย buzzrail.uk Pages Park, LU7 4TG. Family Halloween Disco is open to members and non-members at the Brooklands Residents Club (Leighton Buzzard LU7 3PQ) is hosting a spooky Halloween disco on Saturday 31st October.ย A good chance to dress-up and haunt the dance floor. Tickets available from the bar family disco ยฃ6 members, ยฃ8 non members, under 14s free.
Halloween Waffle and Pottery Painting at Cod & Waffle on Thursday 29th October 11-12.30. ยฃ20 per child includes a piece of potter to paint and a mini waffle to decorate.
