Cue & Arrow Merger Tournament

The Cue & Arrow, Leighton Buzzard’s home of cue sports, darts and live sport, is set to host a brand-new competitive event this February — bringing pool and darts players together in one innovative team tournament.

Taking place on Sunday 8 February, the event will see teams of four compete for cash prizes, with each team made up of two darts players and two pool players. The format is designed to test versatility, teamwork and all-round sporting skill, with points earned across both disciplines contributing to an overall team score.

The tournament format ensures that every player — whether at the oche or the table — plays a crucial role in their team’s success, creating a fast-paced, high-energy competition unlike anything currently offered in the area.

Liam Doherty, Club Owner of The Cue & Arrow, said:
“We wanted to create something genuinely different — an event that brings two sporting communities together and makes teamwork the key to winning. Pool and darts players often train and compete separately, so this is a great way to mix things up and give everyone a stake in the result.”

The event reflects The Cue & Arrow’s commitment to growing cue sports and darts at a grassroots level, while offering competitive opportunities in a welcoming, community-focused environment. The venue has quickly become a popular destination for both casual players and serious competitors since opening in late 2024.

With limited team spaces available, interest in the tournament is expected to be high. Spectators are also encouraged to attend, with live coverage of matches, a lively atmosphere and food and drink available throughout the day. The event will also be also be broadcast live by event partner BLS:TV.
