For a wickedly entertaining October half-term, families can trick or treat themselves to a trip to Whipsnade Zoo for its spooktacular annual Boo at the Zoo.
From Saturday 21 – Sunday 29 October, visitors to the conservation zoo can celebrate all things spooky during a fang-tastic day out for the whole family.
Fearless families can visit a monstrous magic show, orbust a move at the Halloween Disco, where spirited youngsters can show off their scariest outfits and enter the creepy costume contest.
Visitors can dare to jump aboard the ghostly trail on The Great Whipsnade Railway, before decorating a petrifying pumpkin for Halloween*, alongside other Creepy Crafts at the UK’s largest zoo.
Clever little monsters will enjoy Terrifying Animal Talks about the zoo’s nocturnal animals which, just like vampires, are most active after the sun goes down.
After the extra autumn fun, families can spend the rest of their spooky day visiting the conservation zoo’s 11,000 animals – from a herd of Endangered Asian elephants to new arrivals including baby zebra Zinabi and Francois langur Yentu.
