Frosts, a firm favourite
One of the firm local favourites is Frosts Garden Centre in Woburn Sands. This magical experience is open from mid November. Tickets are on sale now

This year’s experience lasts around 45 minutes. Family tickets for 2 adults and 2 children are £58. They offer special SEN sessions and they also have a pet option.
Mead Open Farm Christmas Experience
As well as meeting Santa, you will get to choose your own cuddly toy, decorate gingerbread cookies and explore the magical forest. The Leighton-Linslade Rotary Club sleigh will be taking Santa around our town throughout dates in late November and December. Bee Local is waiting for the elves to let us know his route and we will update this page soon. Santa attends the Christmas light switch on in Leighton Buzzard High Street on Friday 29th November. The Market and activities will be on from 4pm and the lights and fireworks are at 7pm. There follows are whole weekend of activities and entertainment.

The Christmas Festival Weekend marks the start of the festive season in Leighton-Linslade, running from Friday 29th November to Sunday 1st December on the High Street.
On Friday evening, from 4 pm onwards, enjoy our festive market featuring handmade crafts, unique gifts, a funfair, and a packed stage programme full of local acts and performances. There’s something for everyone both before and after the Christmas lights switch-on and fireworks display at 7pm. The food court in Church Square offers freshly made hot street food, perfect for a winter’s evening, while our cheeky elves begin their weekend of festive mischief.
Saturday brings the much-anticipated Leighton Fun Runners Santa Dash, starting at Parson’s Close Recreation Ground, where hundreds of Santas will race through the streets of Leighton-Linslade. The festive markets continue with the Charter Market taking place alongside the Handmade and Craft Market. Joining the fun will be Festive Frolics and the Lost Elves and their Sensory Sleigh alongside local performance groups including The Heath Band, Abbie Gathard and The Rock Project spreading festive cheer throughout the Town Centre.
On Sunday, from 11am festive shopping opportunities return to the High Street, ideal for finding that perfect, unique gift for a loved one. Enjoy performances by Open & Rising Voices, LSJ Trio, Peter Hutchison and Leighton-Linslade Concert Band as well as our cheeky elf show throughout the day next to the Market Cross. Adding to the festive fun Stocking Up!, Winter Fairy and Ski Sunday will fill the market with laughter, mischief, and mayhem. There will also be an opportunity to purchase hot food and drinks, alongside a final chance to experience the funfair in the Town Centre.
Centre:MK Meet Santa and Norbert The Newest Reindeer
This is a personal favourite because the whole of Middleton Square in Centre:MK is transformed with lights.
This year families are welcomed into Santa’s wondrous reindeer stable, where they can experience the story of Santa’s newest reindeer, Norbert, in a heart warming, immersive adventure. Norbert is an adorable reindeer puppet, who communicates through his elf puppeteer, to interact with the children as his special story of Christmas magic unfolds. On their way to meet Santa, children will make reindeer food in the craft workshop to take home with them, before finally stopping off at Santa’s Grotto where they will have the opportunity to take a family photo with the big man himself and receive a gift!
Norbert’s story is one of courage, kindness, and the joy of embracing our differences. The full experience lasts around 30 minutes. Adult Tickets are £6 Children £15.50 Babies under 1 year £5. These tickets sell out very quickly so get them now if you can. Tickets sold here
Woburn Sands Emporium Christmas Grotto
Santa’s elves will warmly greet you as you arrive, before taking you to meet Santa Claus!
Your trip through the Christmas grotto will take you past Santa’s workshop and mailroom, where he reads your letters and wraps the presents. Next, you’ll visit the Reindeer Food Bar to prepare and bag up some reindeer treats to take home, ready to leave out for Santa’s little helpers on Christmas Eve. Finally, you’ll get to the grotto where your child will meet the man himself for a friendly chat and receive a gift.
There is also a Santa Paws experience for your pets.
Photos with Santa and photo gifts will be available to purchase on the way out. Adults are £5 and children £16 and babies under 12 months £7. Book here There are special SEN sessions available to book.
Santa at Dobbies
The closest experience to Bee Local HQ is Dobbies Milton Keynes on the outskirts of Bletchley
train-themed journey for children and families, complete with interactive elements and a meeting with Santa himself!
Take in the atmosphere as you arrive at our enchanting forest, and after a warm welcome from the elves at Sleighbell Station, children will get to experience snowy scenes, spot woodland characters, find hidden nutcrackers, all culminating in the chance to meet Santa
Children are encouraged to share their excitement, wishes and stories before receiving their gift.

Santa Clause is Coming to Leighton Buzzard and Linslade
The Rotary Club of Leighton Linslade are delighted to confirm that negotiations have gone exceptionally well, and Santa has once again agreed to visit the streets of Leighton Linslade during December. Santa will begin his visits by dropping into the Town Light Switch On taking place on Friday 29th November and will start visiting the streets of the town with his Rotary Elves on Wednesday 4th December. He has also agreed to spend some time at Morrisons and Tesco the weekend before Christmas and of course he absolutely loves the Christmas Eve Carols in the High St and will be attending before embarking on his worldwide journey to bring joy and happiness.
Santa’ s Provisional timetable is as follows but please bear in mind his Rotary Elves may need to make last minute changes if the reindeer become poorly, or weather affects the sleigh. Merry Christmas
